About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the full ML lifecycle—from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, validation, and deployment on AWS.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of data scientists, ML engineers, and DevOps specialists to deliver production‑ready solutions.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes, Docker, and GitOps practices to ensure rapid, reliable model releases.
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate complex financial requirements into actionable ML features.
- Champion best practices in model governance, monitoring, and bias mitigation to maintain compliance and trust.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects.
- Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, plus hands‑on experience with AWS services (SageMaker, EC2, S3, Lambda).
- Strong background in container orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD tooling.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work across distributed teams.
- Experience in the financial services domain and familiarity with regulatory requirements is a plus.
