QA Engineer
Lead advanced avionics testing for reusable rocket engines, designing test plans, executing hardware-in-the-loop experiments, and analyzing flight data using Python and MATLAB to ensure safety and performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive avionics test plans for engine and propulsion systems.
- Operate and maintain test equipment, including signal generators, oscilloscopes, and data acquisition systems.
- Analyze test data using Python and MATLAB, applying signal processing techniques to identify anomalies and performance trends.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and flight teams to troubleshoot hardware issues and implement corrective actions.
- Document test procedures, results, and lessons learned in detailed reports for cross‑functional review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in avionics or flight hardware testing.
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for data analysis and automation.
- Strong knowledge of signal integrity, test instrumentation, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, safety‑first environment.
