Systems Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and validation of advanced navigation systems for aircraft, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and delivering high‑reliability performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate navigation subsystems, including GPS, INS, and sensor fusion algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate avionics hardware and software into aircraft platforms.
- Conduct rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis to meet safety and certification requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and support certification processes (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).
- Stay current with industry standards and emerging technologies to continuously improve system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in avionics and navigation system development.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with embedded real‑time operating systems.
- Knowledge of aviation standards (DO-178C, DO-254) and certification processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
