Systems Engineer
Lead the design, development, and analysis of aircraft avionic systems, leveraging embedded hardware, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, and industry standards such as CAN and ARINC 429 to deliver reliable, high‑performance solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and integrate avionics subsystems for military aircraft, ensuring compliance with performance and safety requirements.
- Develop and validate embedded firmware and software using C/C++ and real‑time operating systems.
- Model system behavior in MATLAB/Simulink, perform simulations, and translate results into hardware specifications.
- Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols (CAN, ARINC 429, MIL‑STD‑1553) across multiple platforms.
- Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and support certification activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, review designs, and resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in avionics systems design and embedded software development.
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, and real‑time operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft communication standards (CAN, ARINC, MIL‑STD‑1553).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, safety‑critical environment.
