QA Engineer
Avionics System Test Engineer responsible for designing, executing, and validating flight‑software and hardware tests using HIL, test automation, and MATLAB/Simulink to ensure safety and performance of aircraft systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive test plans for avionics and flight‑software components.
- Execute hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) and software‑in‑the‑loop (SIL) tests to validate system performance.
- Automate test procedures using MATLAB/Simulink and custom scripts to increase coverage and repeatability.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with engineering teams to implement fixes.
- Maintain test equipment, develop calibration procedures, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in avionics or flight‑software testing.
- Proficiency with HIL/SIL platforms and test automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, real‑time operating systems, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, ARINC).
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and test generation.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
