About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate autonomous flight control algorithms for electric VTOL platforms using ROS and C++.
- Implement sensor fusion pipelines (LiDAR, IMU, GPS) and integrate machine‑learning models for perception and decision making.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, and test teams to ensure seamless integration and rigorous flight‑test validation.
- Analyze flight data, troubleshoot issues, and iterate on control logic to improve reliability and performance.
- Document design decisions, maintain code repositories, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with strong background in robotics and control systems.
- 3+ years of experience developing autonomous systems for UAVs or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of sensor fusion, Kalman filtering, and machine‑learning techniques for perception.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team.
