QA Engineer
Automation Test Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test suites for web and mobile applications using Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, and Cypress, while tracking defects in JIRA and ensuring release quality.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, and Cypress.
- Create and update comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data based on functional requirements and design specifications.
- Execute manual functional testing and regression testing to validate new features and verify defect fixes.
- Log, track, and manage defects in JIRA, ensuring clear communication with development teams.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA peers to define test strategies and improve overall test coverage.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new testing tools and frameworks to enhance automation efficiency.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in test automation for web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, or Cypress.
- Strong knowledge of defect tracking tools, preferably JIRA.
- Experience writing clear, maintainable test scripts and documentation.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle and agile testing practices.
