Systems Engineer
Design, develop, and integrate advanced automation solutions for material handling systems, leveraging PLC programming, robotics, and control engineering while using Python and C++ for software development and system testing.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement PLC-based control logic for conveyor, sortation, and AS/RS equipment.
- Develop and integrate robotic and automated guided vehicle (AGV) solutions into warehouse workflows.
- Write, test, and maintain software components in Python and C++ for control, monitoring, and data acquisition.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to create system architecture, perform simulations, and validate performance against specifications.
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation hardware and software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for automation software development.
- Hands‑on experience with robotics, motion control, and integration of warehouse equipment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
