Software Engineer
Lead the design, development, and deployment of automation software for Amazon Delivery stations across the EU, leveraging Python, C++, PLCs, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines to boost productivity and quality.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and test automation software solutions that improve throughput and reliability at Amazon Delivery stations.
- Serve as the technical lead for large‑scale projects, coordinating with local operations, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Design and program PLC and robotic systems, integrating them with cloud services on AWS.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable delivery of code updates and configuration changes.
- Provide hands‑on technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations for deployed solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development and automation engineering, preferably in logistics or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for control‑system programming.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, robotics integration, and AWS cloud services.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional projects and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
