About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on‑site installation, calibration, and maintenance of automated analytical instruments in regulated, high‑volume testing environments.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and process issues, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with customers to optimize instrument workflows, implement automation upgrades, and train end‑users on best practices.
- Document service activities, generate detailed reports, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a technical liaison between field teams, engineering, and product management to drive product enhancements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of service engineering experience with laboratory automation or analytical instrumentation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to train diverse user groups.
- Experience with regulated environments (e.g., GMP, GLP) and quality documentation.
- Willingness to travel to multiple client sites as needed.
