QA Engineer
Senior QA Engineer/SDET focused on ClickHouse, building automated Python tests to validate performance, reliability, and security of analytic database services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites in Python for ClickHouse server and client components.
- Implement security‑centric test cases covering authentication, authorization, data encryption, and vulnerability scanning.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure rapid feedback.
- Analyze test results, reproduce defects, and work with engineers to resolve issues.
- Contribute to test strategy, best practices, and documentation for the QA community.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA/SDET experience with a strong focus on automation.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience testing high‑performance analytic databases.
- Hands‑on knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies (e.g., OWASP, penetration testing).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) and test frameworks (pytest, Behave).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
