About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom robotic cells and automation solutions for medical device production.
- Program PLCs, robot controllers, and vision systems to meet stringent quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to source components, manage integration, and ensure timely delivery.
- Lead assembly, testing, and debugging of automation equipment, providing hands‑on support to technicians.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and maintenance plans for long‑term reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell), and robot programming (ABB, KUKA).
- Strong knowledge of machine vision integration and troubleshooting.
- Excellent project management, communication, and vendor‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced setting.
