QA Engineer
Automation Engineer responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment and control systems, leveraging Python, PLCs, robotics, and data integration to improve production efficiency and product quality.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and commission PLC‑based control systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Program and integrate robotic cells and motion control solutions to automate production lines.
- Develop Python scripts and data pipelines to monitor equipment performance and support predictive maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot automation issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain documentation, version control, and compliance with industry standards for all automation projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and robotics integration.
- Proficiency in Python for data acquisition, analysis, and automation scripting.
- Strong understanding of control systems, HMI/SCADA, and industrial networking.
- Experience with SQL databases and data visualization tools for reporting equipment metrics.
