About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and commission PLC‑based automation solutions for water treatment, recycling, and related infrastructure.
- Create and maintain SCADA/HMI interfaces to monitor and control processes in real time.
- Develop Python scripts and data pipelines for process optimization, predictive maintenance, and reporting.
- Integrate Industrial IoT sensors and edge devices to enable remote monitoring and advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including process engineers, mechanical designers, and IT—to ensure seamless system integration and compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field with 3+ years of automation experience.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and SCADA/HMI platforms.
- Strong Python programming skills for data handling, scripting, and automation.
- Experience with Industrial IoT protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT) and sensor integration.
- Knowledge of control systems theory and ability to apply MATLAB or similar tools for modeling and simulation.
