QA Engineer
Lead automation of cloud‑native deployments for a front‑office investment platform, leveraging Python, Java, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform to streamline CI/CD pipelines and ensure high‑availability services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain automation scripts and pipelines for deploying microservices to AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform, ensuring reproducible and scalable environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and security scans into CI/CD workflows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production deployments, providing rapid incident response and root‑cause analysis.
- Document automation processes, best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in automation engineering or DevOps roles.
- Proficiency in Python and Java for scripting and application support.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (ECS/EKS, S3, CloudFormation).
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with Terraform, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and automated testing frameworks.
