QA Engineer
Lead the design and evolution of automation frameworks for a large multiplayer game, delivering faster feedback and stronger builds across PC and console using Python, Unreal Engine, and robust CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end automation frameworks that support the open‑world experience in Unreal Engine across PC and console platforms.
- Develop and extend test suites in Python, integrating with Unreal Engine’s testing APIs and custom tooling.
- Collaborate with QA, development, and DevOps teams to define test coverage, performance benchmarks, and continuous integration workflows.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines that run automated tests on multiple platforms, ensuring rapid feedback for every build.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality and release cadence.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python and test automation in game development environments.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine’s testing framework and related tooling.
- Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and version control best practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote‑friendly setting.
- Experience with performance testing and debugging across PC and console platforms is a plus.
