About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and program PLC‑based automation solutions for manufacturing equipment.
- Create and maintain LabVIEW applications for data acquisition, equipment monitoring, and test automation.
- Develop Python scripts to integrate equipment, streamline workflows, and support data analysis.
- Implement and troubleshoot robotics and motion‑control systems to improve production efficiency.
- Ensure all automation work complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and LabVIEW.
- Proficiency in Python for automation scripting and data handling.
- Experience with robotics, motion control, and integration of automated equipment in a GMP environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work safely with PPE and lift up to 40 lb.
