QA Engineer
Design, program, and maintain automated equipment for biologics manufacturing, leveraging Python, PLCs, LabVIEW, and robotics to improve process efficiency and product quality.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and commission PLC‑based control systems for bioprocess equipment.
- Create and maintain LabVIEW/HMI interfaces for operator monitoring and data acquisition.
- Design and integrate robotic and automated material handling solutions to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with process engineers to translate manufacturing requirements into reliable automation solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement of existing automated systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with PLC programming (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for data handling, device communication, and test automation.
- Experience with LabVIEW development and integration of HMI/SCADA systems.
- Knowledge of robotics, motion control, and safety standards in a regulated biomanufacturing environment.
