Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment, drafting schematics in AutoCAD, selecting robotic welding components, and programming PLC/HMI systems to ensure optimal plant performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and document electrical control schematics for new assembly machinery and retrofits using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with engineering to select robotic welding components, including dress‑out packages, cabling, torches, weld guns, tool changers, and maintenance accessories.
- Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems to maintain seamless operation of facility equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on control system operation and maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely procurement and integration of control components.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical control system design and documentation.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and PLC/HMI programming.
- Effective communication skills for training and documentation.
