Software Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated control systems using PLCs, SCADA, and industrial Ethernet, ensuring reliable operation and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC and SCADA control logic for production lines.
- Integrate industrial Ethernet and HMI interfaces to enable real‑time monitoring and data acquisition.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements and performance metrics.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and document all changes in configuration management tools.
- Provide on‑site support during commissioning, validation, and post‑implementation reviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in automation controls within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar) and SCADA platforms.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, PROFINET).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation and stakeholder interaction.
