Robotics Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and optimization of automated robotic systems using PLCs, Python, and ROS within industrial environments, driving efficiency and innovation in production lines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for robotic work cells, ensuring seamless integration with existing production lines.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs using Siemens TIA Portal, and develop Python scripts for data acquisition and process control.
- Integrate ROS-based robotic frameworks, configuring sensors, actuators, and communication protocols (Industrial Ethernet, Profinet).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define functional specifications, perform risk assessments, and validate system performance.
- Document design decisions, create technical drawings, and maintain configuration management for all automation assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation and robotics.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal) and Python.
- Hands‑on experience with ROS, industrial communication protocols, and safety standards.
- Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving mindset, and excellent communication abilities.
