Design, program, and commission PLC and HMI solutions for dairy and food processing automation projects, creating network layouts and providing on‑site support to ensure reliable control system performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and modify PLC logic (Ladder, Structured Text) to meet client specifications.
- Design and configure Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) for operator monitoring and control.
- Create detailed network and system layout diagrams, including fieldbus and Ethernet/IP architectures.
- Integrate SCADA and other supervisory systems, ensuring seamless data acquisition and alarm management.
- Perform on‑site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and documentation for automation projects.
- Collaborate with mechanical and process engineers to optimize control strategies and improve plant efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with PLC platforms (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and HMI tools.
- Proficiency in industrial networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus) and system layout design.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve control system issues on‑site.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and technical documentation.
