Lead end‑to‑end automation and controls design for EPC projects in food, pharma, and industrial sectors, delivering detailed design, construction support, and startup expertise using PLC, SCADA, and industrial Ethernet technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automation and controls design for projects ranging from minor to major EPC scopes in food, consumer products, pharmaceutical, and industrial facilities.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, including PLC logic, HMI screens, and SCADA configurations, ensuring compliance with client and project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams during construction and startup phases to validate system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain project safety standards, perform risk assessments, and support safety instrumented system integration.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and contribute to continuous improvement of automation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, or related engineering field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in automation and controls design for EPC projects.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and SCADA/HMI development.
- Strong knowledge of industrial Ethernet protocols (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
