About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain automated data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Python, SQL, and AWS services.
- Design and implement predictive and descriptive analytic models leveraging machine learning techniques to support space, intelligence, and aerospace operations.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau to communicate findings to stakeholders and inform decision‑making.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to translate mission requirements into data‑driven solutions and ensure model validity.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval strategies, including data modeling and schema design, to improve performance and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (Lambda, S3, Redshift, Glue).
- Demonstrated ability to build, evaluate, and deploy machine‑learning models in production environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to produce clear visualizations and reports for technical and non‑technical audiences.
