Software Engineer
Support commercial decision‑making in pharma by analyzing market data, building dashboards, and delivering insights using SQL, Tableau, and Python to drive product strategy and sales performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform commercial and market data from internal and external sources to support analytics projects.
- Develop and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that visualize sales trends, market share, and forecast scenarios.
- Perform statistical analyses and predictive modeling in Python to identify growth opportunities and assess product performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including sales, marketing, and finance—to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
- Prepare concise presentations and written summaries of findings for senior stakeholders, ensuring actionable insights are clearly communicated.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in commercial analytics, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life‑sciences industry.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Tableau (or similar BI tools) and Python for data analysis and visualization.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
