About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web‑based commerce applications.
- Write, execute, and troubleshoot functional and regression test scripts using Python and Selenium.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide fast feedback on code changes.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA peers in an Agile environment to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Validate REST API contracts and data integrity across microservices supporting the commerce platform.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python; experience with Java or JavaScript is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience with Selenium WebDriver or similar web‑automation tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and using version‑control systems like Git.
