Systems Engineer
Support and automate the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud‑based infrastructure, leveraging Linux, Python, and AWS to ensure reliable technical operations for pharmaceutical research platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot Linux‑based production environments supporting research applications.
- Develop and enhance automation scripts in Python and Shell to streamline deployment and configuration tasks.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Configure, monitor, and optimize cloud resources on AWS, including EC2, S3, and RDS.
- Containerize applications with Docker and support orchestration for scalable workloads.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and improve system reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Linux system administration and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Proficiency in AWS services and infrastructure‑as‑code concepts.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative setting.
