About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor electrical design teams on water and wastewater projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Develop and review electrical schematics, panel layouts, and power distribution plans for plant and treatment facilities.
- Integrate PLC and SCADA systems, overseeing control logic, HMI design, and data acquisition strategies.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and automation disciplines to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance on power quality, protection, and energy efficiency initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical design for water and wastewater utilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, and PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Strong knowledge of SCADA platforms (Wonderware, Ignition) and power system analysis.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
