Entry‑level systems support role focused on monitoring and maintaining Windows servers, SQL databases, and IIS using AppDynamics, LogicMonitor and Azure Monitor while providing L1/L2 incident resolution.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor the health and performance of Windows servers, SQL Server instances, and IIS web services using AppDynamics, LogicMonitor, and Azure Monitor.
- Respond to L1 and L2 alerts, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate escalations to ensure SLA compliance.
- Maintain and update monitoring dashboards, thresholds, and alerting policies to reflect changing business needs.
- Perform routine system administration tasks such as patching, backups, and capacity planning.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures for knowledge‑base sharing.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to implement performance‑optimizing changes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience supporting Windows Server environments and SQL Server databases.
- Hands‑on experience with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, LogicMonitor, or Azure Monitor.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for IIS, networking, and service‑level issues.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell or Bash) for automation of routine tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced IT operations team.
