About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and maintain system models and simulations for aerospace and defense platforms.
- Implement algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python to support performance, reliability, and mission analysis.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to integrate models into larger system architectures using Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices.
- Ensure compliance with DoD modeling and simulation standards and maintain documentation for secret‑level projects.
- Support test and evaluation activities, including data analysis, result interpretation, and model refinement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and programming experience in C++ and/or Python.
- Understanding of MBSE concepts and experience applying DoD modeling and simulation standards.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
