About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain MIL‑STD‑882E compliant safety programs for integrated product teams.
- Analyze hardware and electrical blueprints to identify and eliminate latent hazards before field deployment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design high‑performance safety solutions and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present safety findings and recommendations to key military and program stakeholders.
- Maintain up‑to‑date safety documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Strong background in system safety engineering and familiarity with MIL‑STD‑882E.
- Experience analyzing complex hardware and electrical schematics for safety hazards.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting safety analyses to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proficiency in safety analysis tools and documentation practices.
