Join the IP Operations Abstraction team as an Associate STEM Content Analyst, applying engineering expertise to patent content abstraction, technical writing, and data entry for Derwent products.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and abstract technical information from engineering patents and related documents.
- Produce clear, concise summaries and metadata for Derwent’s IP databases.
- Validate and enrich patent data to ensure accuracy and consistency across product lines.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and subject‑matter experts to maintain high‑quality content standards.
- Utilize typing and data‑entry skills to meet productivity targets while adhering to confidentiality guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, or Information Engineering (freshers welcome).
- Strong understanding of engineering concepts and patent terminology.
- Excellent written communication and technical writing abilities.
- Proficiency in fast, accurate typing (certification preferred).
- Detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team.
