Associate Software QA Specialist responsible for manual testing of high‑volume, security‑intensive applications, creating and executing test cases, reporting defects, and collaborating in agile pods to enhance product quality and user experience.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for core products.
- Perform sanity and regression testing to ensure product stability across releases.
- Log, track, and verify bug fixes using industry‑standard defect management tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teammates within agile pods.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance test coverage and user experience.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of manual testing principles and best practices.
- Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Familiarity with security testing concepts and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Basic knowledge of agile methodologies and sprint workflows.
