Security Engineer
Associate Security Engineer focused on network security, identity management, and endpoint protection, collaborating with a Managed Security Controls team to safeguard enterprise environments using SIEM and advanced security controls.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation strategies.
- Support identity and access management initiatives, configuring and managing authentication services such as LDAP, SAML, and MFA solutions.
- Deploy and manage endpoint protection platforms, ensuring timely patching, malware detection, and response across corporate devices.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Monitor security events via SIEM tools, triage alerts, and contribute to incident response documentation.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in network security, identity management, or endpoint protection.
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
