QA Engineer
Associate QA Engineer focused on validating BI reports and dashboards using Power BI, Advanced Excel, and T‑SQL, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across analytics platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing and validation of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Write and execute T‑SQL queries to validate data integrity and reconcile data sources.
- Use Advanced Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, and comparison across datasets.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to understand data flows and reporting requirements.
- Document test cases, results, and defect reports in a clear, concise manner.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts for BI reporting.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in QA or data validation for BI environments.
- Experience with MicroStrategy (MSTR) and automation tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team.
