Associate Production Test Engineer responsible for validating hardware against technical data packages, managing test equipment, troubleshooting failures, and driving yield and efficiency improvements in a high‑rate production environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Validate prime hardware against strict technical data package requirements throughout development, production, and depot phases.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
- Diagnose complex test failures, lead root‑cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and execute automated test procedures to increase throughput and reduce manual effort.
- Analyze production data to identify yield loss drivers and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands‑on experience with hardware testing, test equipment setup, and data acquisition.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, LabVIEW) and a strong focus on yield and efficiency improvement.
