QA Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of bioprocess automation systems, integrating PLCs, SCADA, and data analytics to enhance production efficiency and regulatory compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate automated bioprocess solutions using PLCs, SCADA, and embedded control systems.
- Collaborate with process engineers to translate process requirements into robust automation architectures.
- Implement data acquisition, monitoring, and analytics pipelines to support real‑time decision making and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all automation designs meet GxP, SOP, and regulatory standards, preparing documentation for audits.
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for production equipment and control systems.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related field with 8+ years in bioprocess automation.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell) and SCADA platforms.
- Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis and automation scripting.
- Experience with GxP environments, SOP development, and regulatory audits.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and project management abilities.
