About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native services on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for big data workloads.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and ensure high availability using Kubernetes and related tooling.
- Collaborate with data scientists and application teams to optimize data pipelines, storage, and processing performance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability, scalability, and security across the platform.
- Document architecture, best practices, and operational procedures for internal teams.
Requirements
- Experience with SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, or similar cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in Java and Python for backend development.
- Hands‑on knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration.
- Strong understanding of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and data lake concepts.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication, and a collaborative mindset.
