Security Engineer
Entry‑level pentester focused on Red Team engagements, conducting vulnerability assessments, exploit development, and security testing across network and application layers using industry tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Execute penetration tests on network, web, and mobile applications to identify security weaknesses.
- Develop and deploy custom exploits to validate vulnerabilities and demonstrate impact.
- Collaborate with Red Team members to simulate advanced adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Document findings, produce detailed reports, and present remediation recommendations to stakeholders.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging threats, attack vectors, and security tools.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of network protocols, web technologies, and operating systems.
- Hands‑on experience with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Wireshark.
- Knowledge of common vulnerability databases (CVE, NVD) and security frameworks (NIST, OWASP).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH) are a plus.
