About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first‑line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to faculty, staff, and students.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory and Office 365.
- Diagnose and resolve Windows operating system problems and application errors.
- Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system, ensuring timely closure.
- Assist with basic scripting and automation tasks to improve support efficiency.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Fundamental knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365 administration.
- Experience with network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with ticketing/help‑desk platforms and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to write basic scripts (e.g., PowerShell) for routine tasks.
