Data Engineer
Associate IT Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on AWS, leveraging Python, SQL, and Spark to support aseptic production and quality data needs.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark on AWS to ingest, transform, and store production and quality data.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements, data models, and performance metrics for aseptic filling and QC processes.
- Implement and optimize ETL workflows, ensuring data quality, lineage, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement automation for data validation and alerting.
- Document data architecture, processes, and best practices for internal stakeholders and external audits.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark for large‑scale data processing.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR).
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data quality practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
