Associate Front Office Software Engineer - Castleton Commodities International

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, cloud‑native services for real‑time market analytics and back‑testing engines.
• Collaborate with data scientists and front‑office traders to translate business requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Integrate third‑party data feeds and APIs, ensuring low‑latency data ingestion and robust error handling.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring to guarantee reliability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and experience building data‑intensive applications.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, Kinesis) and container orchestration (ECS/EKS).
• Hands‑on experience with real‑time streaming, event‑driven architectures, and time‑series data processing.
• Familiarity with data science workflows, statistical modeling, and risk analytics.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
