Associate Engineer, IT Build & Release - Tractor Supply

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and communicate release schedules, tracking deployment status for each release cycle.
• Lead production change‑management activities, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to execute deployments.
• Develop, refine, and enforce processes for moving code through development, QA, staging, and production environments.
• Create and maintain release documentation that satisfies compliance and audit requirements.
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Bash scripts.

Requirements

• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins) and scripting in Bash or similar shells.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and command‑line utilities.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple release streams simultaneously.
