About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision for large‑scale, Java‑centric microservice platforms.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering an Agile culture and best‑in‑class engineering practices.
- Architect, design, and oversee the migration of applications to AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Implement and champion CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps standards to accelerate delivery cycles.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Java and microservice architectures.
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams in an Agile, CI/CD‑driven environment.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) and cloud‑native design patterns.
- Deep understanding of DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical direction across the organization.
