Senior leader to build and scale a 60‑70 person AI engineering organization in Hyderabad, delivering machine‑learning platforms for clinical, behavioral health, payer, and sales solutions using Python, cloud services, and data pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute the strategy to grow a high‑performing AI engineering team of 60‑70 members in Hyderabad.
- Lead development of AI‑enabled platforms across clinical, behavioral health, payer, and sales domains, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Partner with U.S. leadership to align product roadmaps, delivery timelines, and technical standards.
- Establish best practices for machine‑learning model development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Drive adoption of cloud infrastructure (AWS) and data engineering pipelines to support large‑scale AI workloads.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 5 years leading large, distributed AI/ML teams.
- Deep expertise in Machine Learning, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Proven track record delivering production‑grade AI solutions in healthcare, payer, or related industries.
- Strong ability to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps and to mentor senior engineers.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders across time zones.
