About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high‑performing data science team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and data pipelines on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex business problems into data‑driven solutions.
- Oversee data governance, quality, and security practices across all analytics projects.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, influencing product and business strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS services (SageMaker, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).
- Strong background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data engineering.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
