Software Engineer
Lead a high‑performing BI engineering team to design, build, and scale data warehousing and analytics solutions using SQL, Azure, and Power BI, while driving best practices and client value.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the BI engineering strategy for large‑scale data platforms, ensuring alignment with client objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Architect, develop, and optimize data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and data models using SQL, Azure services, and industry‑standard best practices.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and analysts, providing mentorship, performance management, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions, delivering dashboards and reports via Power BI and other visualization tools.
- Establish governance, quality, and security standards for data assets, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or analytics, with a proven track record of leading large teams.
- Deep expertise in SQL, data warehousing concepts, ETL design, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
- Strong proficiency with Power BI (or comparable visualization tools) and data modeling techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex client engagements, communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences, and deliver measurable business value.
- Excellent problem‑solving, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.
