Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of seven research analysts, setting strategic research priorities and ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
- Drive the development of next‑generation Li‑ion and solid‑state battery technologies, translating laboratory findings into commercial solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional product teams to integrate research insights into product roadmaps and go‑to‑market strategies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, presenting research findings and commercial opportunities to stakeholders across automotive and related sectors.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, or a related field with a focus on battery technology.
- 5+ years of industry experience in battery research and development, with a proven track record of publishing or patenting innovations.
- Strong leadership skills, demonstrated by managing multidisciplinary research teams.
- Excellent communication abilities, capable of translating complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python) and experience with battery performance modeling.
