Associate DevSecOps Engineer focused on building secure, automated pipelines on AWS, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools to deliver scalable, mission‑critical solutions for federal agencies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS with Terraform, ensuring compliance with federal security standards.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes clusters.
- Integrate automated security scanning (Snyk, Trivy, OWASP ZAP) into build processes and remediate findings.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enforce best practices and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in DevSecOps or related roles.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, EKS, IAM, S3) and IaC tools.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP) and vulnerability management.
