Entry‑level analyst responsible for extracting, transforming, and visualizing insurance data to support business decisions, using SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI to create clear, actionable reports.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Extract and cleanse data from relational databases and internal systems using SQL.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI.
- Perform data modeling and basic statistical analysis to identify trends and support underwriting, claims, and financial teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Document data sources, transformation logic, and reporting processes to ensure data lineage and reproducibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Experience building visualizations and dashboards with Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a collaborative team attitude.
